Profiling England's new strategic authorities
England's devolution settlement is being redrawn. Mayoral Strategic Authorities now
cover most of the country, and each one holds a different set of powers and starts
from a different economic base.
These three tools collect boundary, devolution and economic data for all of them, so
each area can be read on its own terms and set against the rest.

Figures come from published sources including the ONS, Nomis, MHCLG and NHS England,
standardised to a common set of geographies. Local authority boundaries have changed
repeatedly over the period covered, so some series are reconciled across boundary
vintages. Treat individual values as indicative, and cite the original publisher.
